Georges Laraque is an 11 year NHL veteran and is currently playing with the Montreal Canadiens. Laraque Was drafted 31st overall by the Oilers and was known as an enforcer early in his career. Laraque then played for the Coyotes before being traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins. Laraque was used to anchor a physical line in Pittsburgh and to protect Sidney Crosby, and company. After a good 2 years in Pittsburgh the big enforcer set off for Montreal, where the Canadiens looked to add touhness after being abused by critics for not having enough strength in the playoffs the previous year.
